Carson’s passion for the sport of archery began at the age of 15 when his parents helped him buy his first bow from Jim Bows Archery. Since then, he has become an avid bow hunter and 3-D shooter. Archery is not only his career, but his lifestyle.
Before Carson started working for Jim Bows, he used to be a professional dancer touring across Canada performing in musicals and dance shows. After he retired as a dancer, he pursued his schooling receiving a diploma in marketing from SAIT and a degree in management from Mount Royal University. He then worked briefly with Surge Energy as an accountant, but soon realized that it was not for him.
Carson started working for Jim Bows Archery at the age of 18 as their only part time worker. He quickly moved into a full time position while going through college and university. Jim has been Carson’s mentor since he was 15, teaching him how to be a good shooter, bow hunter, bow technician and business owner.
After working as the full timer in the Calgary location, Jim and Joe approached him with a business proposition to help open the second location in Edmonton. Carson went from being a customer of Jim Bows Archery to working full time and now is part owner of the Edmonton store. This is a dream come true for him and is excited to see where Jim Bows Archery will go.
