LESSONS
At Jim-Bows Archery, we believe that anyone can learn to shoot a bow and arrow, regardless of their skill level or preferred style of archery. That’s why we offer a wide range of lessons to suit every type of archer. Whether you’re a complete beginner looking to try your hand at traditional archery, or an experienced shooter looking to improve your skills with a compound bow, we have something for everyone.
Our introductory archery lessons are a great way to get started, and are designed to give you a basic understanding of the sport, and the confidence to shoot your first arrow. These lessons are one hour in length, and are held Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 7pm. We recommend that you call in advance to reserve your spot, as spaces can fill up quickly. Our knowledgeable and experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of archery, including proper form, aiming, and release. You’ll also have the opportunity to shoot a few arrows and get a feel for the bow, and our instructors will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Youth and Adult Compound lessons: $60 per person
Our one-hour introductory lessons include everything you need to get started, including the use of a compound bow, three arrows and a release aid. This makes it easy for you to focus on learning the basics of archery without having to worry about equipment rental or purchase. For those who want to share the experience with family or friends, we also offer couple or family lessons upon request. These are designed to accommodate two or more people at a time, and provide a fun and interactive way to learn the sport together.
Youth and Adult Recurve lessons: $40 per person
We offer one-hour traditional archery lessons that include everything you need to get started, including the use of a recurve bow, three arrows and an experienced instructor to guide you through the basics of archery. The recurve bow rental is included in the lesson fee, making it easy for you to focus on learning the sport without having to worry about equipment rental or purchase. For those who want to share the experience with family or friends, we also offer couple or family lessons upon request. These lessons are designed to accommodate two or more people at a time and provide a fun and interactive way to learn the sport together.
*Required minimum age is 10 years of age or older
*We do not offer individual lessons from July 1st to October 21st
